Welcome to the New MARC Website UPDATE

Tom Hovetter

It’s been just over a month since the launch of our new MARC website, and we’re thrilled with how well things are going. While every new project comes with a few bumps along the way, the MARC Board of Directors is genuinely delighted with the fresh, modern site and the momentum it’s already creating. Our Facebook presence has also taken a major leap forward, thanks to the dedication and talent of our website and Facebook team—they are doing an absolutely outstanding job.

The board has been receiving regular performance updates, and the results are truly exciting: website visits are climbing, engagement on our new Facebook reels is soaring, and membership numbers continue to grow.

Thank you for your patience as you explore the new site, and please keep visiting. More enhancements and updates are on the way, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Thomas L. Hovetter – MARC President

Rebuilt transmission that the late George Miller helped me rebuild during his rebuild classes in 2014.  I have two and have decided that I'll never use both of them. The transmission has all new ball bearings, roller bearings, gaskets, spacers, baffles and the other small parts.  All of the gears were inspected by George and found to be in very good condition, including the main drive gear, the cluster gear, and the sliding gears and reverse idler gear. The case was cleaned and has been repainted.  I also added the rear shaft seal kit to help keep the oil from leaking out past the rear shaft openings. I have a shift tower that has not been rebuilt that I can include for free except the cost of shipping it in a separate box.  More photos available. $800 + Shipping.

Beautiful Sport Coupe with original body, interior, and soft roof. My father was a lifelong “car nut” (his words, not mine) and this Model A was one of his pets. It has long been in our family and never stored outside. My father passed in May of 2024, and we have finally decided that we’re ready for it to have a new home with another car enthusiast. This coupe is a classic black/brown exterior with orange wheels and a fully functional rumble seat. -Black/Brown/Tan, Original Body & Interior, Rumble Seat -Recently inspected (Nov 2025) with electrical work done: Ignition points & cable replaced Condenser replaced Distributor rotor & cap replaced 6-volt coil replaced Timing and spark gaps adjusted Starts easily, runs smoothly, and is ready for touring, shows, or club events. It currently resides in northern Michigan. We are sad to let it go, but this car deserves to be out and about. It needs to be used and enjoyed. Call or text Lisa Hughes at 412-260-5920. Looking for the brass date plate that holds the AAA or NMA emblem to the radiator. Particularly looking for 1928 but will take any year. Willing to purchase the entire emblem with the date badge if necessary. Willing to trade another date for the 1928 I am looking for. Ed Daniel

Important Tour Details

This year, MARC is creating a unique experience by blending our Road Tour with several traditional Membership Meet activities.

  • General Membership Meeting: Tuesday morning.

  • Farewell Banquet & Awards: Thursday evening.

Plan Ahead & Register Early

Because May is peak season in the Finger Lakes, we recommend securing your spot as soon as possible. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Hotel Rates: Due to high demand, the “Tour Hotel Rate” may not be available for extended stays.

  • Banquet Capacity: The Thursday night banquet is strictly limited to the first 300 registrants due to venue space.

  • Limited Availability: Facilities across the region fill up quickly, so early registration is essential to ensure your spot.

Don’t miss out on this inviting blend of outdoor adventure and local flavor.

Please note that due to space constraints, the banquet area is limited to 300 people so be sure to register early.
