Many of us have been the fortunate recipients of the groundbreaking work created by early internet pioneers of the Model A hobby—enthusiasts like Marco Tahtaras, Steve Plucker, Vince Falter, and others. These dedicated researchers brought their knowledge to a new frontier called the internet, forever transforming how technical information and historical research could be shared with those who love the Model A Ford.
When Marco passed away, his website www.abarnyard.com—a cornerstone of Model A technical knowledge—was lost as well. Today it survives only through the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. In cooperation with the Tahtaras family, the Model A Restorers Club is honored to bring Marco’s work home once again by hosting the ABarnyard site content as part of the official MARC website. Just as before, it will remain freely available for all to use, learn from, and appreciate.
The content contained is just as it was when the site went offline with only minor formatting changes to accommodate today’s modern browsers and mobile devices.Â
