| Typical of Briggs built straight windshield models, The sill moulding is a cover on the floor side sill. With the exception of 1928-29 open bodies, all other passenger bodies with sill mouldings, the mouldings were part of the door. |

| The Briggs bodies used a scuff plate that simply mounted on top of the sill with nickel plated #8 oval head wood screws (shown) and #6 nickel plated oval head wood screws along the inner edge covered by the carpet. |

| The Deluxe Fordor and Town Sedan had a design etched into the aluminum. All models that used an aluminum scuff plate with a design were similar. None were originally done in black. |
