1931 Standard Coupe – Continued

Ford did well at making their trim schemes neutral to compliment their exterior colors.

The cowl trim cardboards are two-tone gray-brown dash grain (a close up would be nice!). The windlace is wool worsted cloth, matching in color. Floor covering is black starburst rubber.

The window mouldings are dark maroon as with all gray check interiors. The standard window curtain was plain gray silk poplin (15% silk, cotton) on the usual 3/4″ dia. steel roller. The matching cotton headliner was a single flat piece with attaching strips (listings) blind stitched to the back side.

The rumble seat was two tone black-brown cobra cross grain artificial leather. The same cushions were used in all 1930-31 standard rumble seats, and deluxe coupe rumble seats until may 1931.
