The Frame – Evolution of the Model A Frame
![]() | The following is a study and database concerning the Model A Ford Frame Assembly, A-5005-A, B, C and D. The study follows the Ford releases, or engineering document, which were done during the production years, 1928-1931. |
The study describes in detail the specific changes which occurred to each part in upgrading the Frame Assembly according to the date of the release. One must remember that it took some time to revise the dies once the production department received the updated release. It also took some time for that “new” and updated Frame Assembly to be put out into production. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thanks. Steve
