Hello, I’m Tom Hovetter, MARC President. On behalf of the MARC Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to YOUR new MARC website.
This new site represents many months of planning, development, and collaboration. By engaging a professional web developer—along with the invaluable support of dedicated volunteers—we’ve created a modern, reliable platform designed to serve our members today and well into the future.
We hope you find the new website intuitive, informative, and easy to use. As with any major upgrade, you may encounter an occasional glitch. We encourage you to explore the site and share your feedback. If you notice any issues, please let us know by emailing us at webmaster@modelarestorersclub.org.
This website is just one part of MARC’s broader digital and social media strategy, an important step as we work to keep our organization strong, relevant, and connected for generations to come.
We continue to honor our heritage—while fully embracing the future.

Welcome to the New MARC Website! Just like the satisfaction of completing a Model A restoration, the MARC Board of Directors is proud to announce the completion of a major project, the fully restored MARC website. Hello, I’m Tom Hovetter,
Give yourself the best gift this holiday season and book your trip today!
The Finger Lakes Region of New York offers a beautiful destination for visitors, especially near Penn Yan and
Watkins Glen. Penn Yan is known for its charming small-town atmosphere, scenic vineyards, and access to Keuka
Lake, where you can enjoy boating and lakeside walks. Watkins Glen, on the southern tip of Seneca Lake, is
famous for Watkins Glen State Park. The area also boasts renowned wineries, local eateries, and picturesque
countryside perfect for a relaxing getaway. Whether you’re interested in outdoor adventures or savoring local flavors, the Finger Lakes Region provides an inviting escape in upstate New York.
May is a busy time in the area so unfortunately we may not be able to offer the “Tour Hotel Rate” for extra
days. Facilities are limited so early registration is encouraged.
MARC is combining this Road Tour with a few of the regular activities of a Membership Meet. A brief “General
Membership Meeting” will be held on Tuesday morning. Awards will be presented at the Thursday Night Farewell
Banquet. Please note that due to space constraints, the banquet area is limited to 300 people so be sure to register
early.
